We are having an urgent requirement with one of our MNC (Product Development Company) Client for the post Associate Technical Manager BI

Position: Associate Technical Manager BI

Location: Info park,Kochi, Kerala

Experience:8 to 12 Years

Job Description

Establish & Own BI, data model, and reporting standards
Review BI strategy, report design documents and metadata strategy documents prepared by design team
Actively participate in BI design, documentation of processes supported by the team, and solution delivery
Provide technical leadership to multiple business intelligence and datawarehousing and warehousing projects

Provide high level communication on the project to all stakeholders. Will lead:

Project Management meetings
Program Updates with Program/Project Sponsors
Program Updates and technical reviews with the BI Architects
Project Team Meetings

Take accountability for delivery and ensure that delivery commitments and SLA towards functional owners and other stakeholders are met
Ensure product development milestones are adhered to within budget, release dates are met, and product meets or exceeds quality.
Establish and implement operating procedures; monitor and evaluate operational effectiveness.
Continuously improve processes and adopt technologies to ensure excellence in execution including continuous improvements in quality, efficiency of business intelligence and datawarehousing of data sources, resource utilization and productivity.
Prove Datawarehousing project management experience
Demonstrated Leadership ability
Solid understanding of datawarehousing concepts.
Excellent Communication Skills
Expertise in Business intelligence and datawarehousing (BI) and DBMS infrastructure and configuration to best serve a Data Warehousing environment, Operational Data Store and/or Enterprise Data Warehouse.
Technical and People Management expertise
Ability to orchestrate the different activities performed by the team: Requirements analysis, modeling, and delivery
Must be well organized and capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines.
Comfortable in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills from both business and technical perspectives.
Knowledge and experience in Project Management
Ability to work in a multi-cultural and matrix organization with multiple stakeholders across different time zones
Awareness of CMMi processes will be an added advantage.
Strong Client interaction experience, managing stakeholder expectations and escalation management
Knowledge and experience in Project Management
Good Understanding of Dimensional modeling across different schemas.
Should have participated in QA / Testing includes facilitating UAT sign off
Experience in implementation which includes drafting implementation plan, drafting delivery note, implementing/supporting go-live, facilitating implementation sign off
Experience in a onsite/offshore model
Desired but not required: Past experience working with product management & application development teams in solution building for BI programs
