We are having an urgent requirement with one of our MNC (Product Development Company) Client for the post Senior Software Specialist BI

Position: Senior Software Specialist BI

Location: Info park,Kochi, Kerala

Experience:3 to 5Years

Job Description

Responsible for designing Business Objects WEBI reports, Xcelsius reports, dashboards, delivery (distribution), scheduling and retention policy for reports.
Assist in BO Universe design
Develop logical and physical Data Models and Entity Relationship Diagrams using ERWIN
Implement database objects in Oracle.
Perform some basic DBA functions in the Development and System Test environments.
Performance tune databases and SQL statements.
Perform source system data analysis.
Develop stored procedures, database triggers and complex SQL queries where needed.
Strong knowledge in BOXIR3/R2 WEBI/ Xcelsius report design, dashboarding, and distribution
Knowledge of BO Universe Development & WebI reports
Strong in warehousing and integration concepts
Thorough knowledge in Oracle, SQL. Should be good at writing DB queries, Store procedures, Triggers, Functions, etc.
A good blend of Analytical skills and logical reasoning
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate directly with clients and manage expectations
Experience working with various data sources including flat files, RDBSs, XMLs, xls, csv etc
Desired but not required: Experience in using Informatica ETL tools for data integration tasks.
